Who can be my Surrogacy Mother?

According to the Resolution of the Federal Council of Medicine number 2.168 of 2017, the patient who will be a surrogacy mother must belong to the family of one of the partners in blood kinship up to the fourth degree (mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece or cousin). When the person isn’t related up to the fourth degree, an authorization from the Regional Council of Medicine must be obtained before accomplish the treatment.

Does The child register go out in the name of the genetic parents

Yes. This point is already understood by the Superior Courts in Brazil. In the civil registry office, the child is already registered in the name of the genetic parents. No lawsuit is required to obtain the birth certificate.
